This means there will be no 9 am service on Sunday and instead we would love to celebrate with them and see you at 10.30 am!

On Sunday 17 September we are celebrating our 60th anniversary with a special Holy Cross Day Eucharist at 9.30am, presided by Bishop Mark.
The service will include music from the Good Faith Choir, a confirmation, and the reception of a member into the Anglican Church of Australia.
Following the Eucharist, all are welcome to join us for a “chicken and champagne” lunch. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our regular Sunday worship, and occasional other services and events are broadcast via Zoom. Those unable to attend in person are most welcome to join us. Livestream services can be accessed at our regular Zoom link.
St Margaret’s Uniting Church is hosting the Zoom session this morning at 9 am. Please go to: https://uca-nswact.zoom.us/j/97088373486?pwd=ak9jY2ovTTZkbjA1aE5PSzVaMGFxQT09 to join.

Join the Holy Cross community and friends for our Christmas events! All welcome.
In the lead up to Easter, many of us may be thinking about buying and eating chocolate. Sadly, hazardous child labour in chocolate production is widespread and growing. But there are many things we can be doing about it, including (but not limited to!) buying ethically produced chocolate.
See here for information about a new ethical chocolate shopping guide or read more about the challenges of chocolate production and some ways you can support slavery-free chocolate here.
During last Sunday’s first video service, Tim spoke about ways in which we might share our ‘Time, Talents and Treasure’ as we do church differently. Some of you have been asking how you might make your financial contributions while we are currently unable to congregate in person.
There are two options currently available: making offerings using bank transfer, or having someone collect your offering using the envelope system. More information can be found here.
Tim and the parish council are working hard on ways for us to worship God, serve others and care for our Christ-centred community in these challenging times. We will keep in touch with you all as best we can and we welcome your ideas.
