Enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends are keys to health and happiness. If you’re looking for a bit of moderate exercise, a good morning tea and even better conversation, the Holy Cross Walking Group could be the place.
Our walks every two weeks take us to new places in good company. We set off at a leisurely pace and walk for about 40 mins, finishing up with morning tea. A different member leads the walk each time, so we can always find somewhere nice to go. We are sure to end at a well vetted café or bring our own on weeks where there’s no convenient watering hole.
We adapt the walk to the members who show up so don’t be put off if you are not the marathon type! Everyone is friendly and inclusive, and all are welcome.
